We developed an award for Mitros, a large Utrecht housing cooperation, which they presented during the final of the 100% GZND living challenge. The theme of the challenge was to improve living quality by improving air quality.
The design shows an abstract of an apartment building, with a recess in between, which visualizes the ventilation of the building. The wood used for the pedestal is from an Utrecht elm, which was cut up at the Majoor Bosshardt Plantsoen and has provided the Utrecht residents with fresh oxygen for decades.
