It’s been quiet on this account for a while, but

It’s been quiet on this account for a while, but that doesn’t mean we’ve stopped working! Right now, our focus is mainly on @thenovelgrey (so be sure to follow us there too 😉 ). Recently, we’ve been working on developing a new collection, Chapter 2, and a new website to showcase what we create more clearly. Like here in the video, tile Neve.⁠
Additionally, we are still taking on bespoke projects with Beton-Lab (though not everything can be shown on Insta).⁠

It was great to experience the nice reactions from people. Sometimes people would stop and look at one of our works for a few minutes, to see the pattern, understand the repetition or just to admire it. Super awesome!

A while ago we were commissioned to custom-make this artwork.
With steel and chicken wire as a base and special concrete, we were able to shape this work of art by hand according to the customer's wishes. To top it off, it has been painted to completely match the space.

We love a challenge and are always open to a great assignment like this!

Next week 4 of our @thenovelgrey tiles will be on display in the inspiration home of @eigenhuiseninterieur during the @vtwonenendesignbeurs .
Of course, that takes a lot of preparation...
1. Small Metal tiles
2. Sanding all edges of all tiles
3. Impregnating all tiles
4. Gluing the remountable glue so that we can reuse the tiles later
5. Tiles ready to pack
6. Carefully packed in crates so that they can be transported to the fair this weekend!

From next Tuesday, October 3 to Sunday October 8, they can be seen in the @expogreateramsterdam

We were approached by Bart Schilder from @revised_

We were approached by Bart Schilder from @revised_official, if we could realize a lamp base for him. We don't easily say that something can't be done, and with a few minor changes we were able to get started with the process! To make a mold you first need a positive, which became a Nylon milled model. We made a formwork around it and filled it with rubber. When the rubber mold was cast, we could finally fill it with concrete; and there is the lamp base of this sturdy lamp!
